About us

We started this online shop partly to encourage Bonsai people to get more involved with the actual presentation of their Bonsai, Suiseki, companion plants and Kusamono, in the home, at club meetings and at exhibitions for public or private viewing. 

Lindsay started making stands and Jita in a slow way, some years ago as a way to focus on something other than Bonsai administration, occasionally.

This store offers a variety of product pricing so that people with a small budget are able to purchase display aids at reasonable prices, if they wish. Generally speaking, the items with lower prices are made from soft timbers which are quicker to produce and possibly cheaper to ship.

The more expensive items are created from more expensive timbers and are generally made to more exacting standards. Also, these timbers are mostly much harder and so take longer to create and longer to finish.

We guarantee all of the items that we manufacture against breakage during normal use. Our construction methods are strong and reliable for both the Budget Range and the Hardwood Range of stands. 

If through normal use, anything breaks, please notify us immediately by email to info@bonsai-stands-and-stones.com so that we can assess the issue and rectify the problem.

We do not guarantee the products through improper use or accidental breakage.
