Bonsai Stand - Hardwood Range 28.5x19.5x13.5cm

This stand is made from Burdekin Plum, a very hard and durable wood. Pleiogynium timoriense is an Australian native but ranges from Queensland through some of the Pacific and South Asian islands. Not used much because it it hard to get good logs, but a nice, very hard timber. This stand measures 28.5 x 19.5 cm on top and is 13.5 cm high. Legs are flared inwards in 2 planes and with carved ribs down 2 faces. Difficult hand making and fitting these legs! The wood has been left its natural colour and given 4 coats of hand rubbed hard oil/varnish mix.
