Bonsai Stand - Hardwood Range

This stand is quite unusual. I have recycled a very old West Australian Red Gum table that was cut and made when it was legal to remove ancient trees many years ago. Several pieces of the table were so unusual that I have made this table with some of the wood. I have tried to photograph the table in such a way that you can see the natural voids in the top. This is one very hard and sturdy item! It measures 33 x 17 cm at the top and is 13 cm high. The stand has a rough look but it is very finely sanded and finished with many coats of hard oil. Beautiful shimmer and quilting in the wood. A unique item.
