This strand is made from Gidgee, one of this planets hardest timbers growing in Australia's arid regions. Lovely grain colours and pattern that I have kept running throughout the stand. It measures 25.2 x 15 cm on top- and is 15.4 cm high. All 20 joints are dowel set and the finish is hand rubbed oil and varnish.
