Jita - Special Collection

This Special Collection Jita is made from mallee root burl. It is 22.5 x 13 x 0.9 cm.

It has been sanded in stages up to 1000 grit and treated with a slightly thinned mixture of oil and varnish, giving it a harder surface than using just oil. It has had 7 coats altogether, giving it a very smooth, silky look and feel. On this one each side is different. One face is high gloss and the opposite side is low sheen.

Supplied in a storage box of Paulownia wood lined with felt.
